Approach & Values

Approach: Our treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based therapy, Family Systems, and Christian Counseling.

Virtual counseling or telehealth counseling.

The Bizelli Counseling group is happy to offer both virtual counseling or telehealth counseling as this is an accepted form of therapy for most insurance companies.  We use the Hippaa Compliant medical platform  Therapy Notes offers  as your virtual counseling tool.

Types of Therapy

Individual Therapy

Individual Counseling: We work hard with our clients to empower, educate, and help them find healthier ways of perceiving, thinking, and coping with the various stressors that occur in everyday living. Using Cognitive Behavioral therapy helps the individual battle problems internally focusing on the restructuring of irrational beliefs and negative thinking. Clients whom receive individual counseling from TBC will be empowered, have increased awareness, and will feel compassion coming from our mental health clinicians. We offer solution focused and time effective counseling as our sessions generally are 45 minutes. The remaining 15 minutes of the hour is spent on completing documentation or making phone contacts as needed.

Couples Therapy

Three major reasons why couples receive therapy is due to lack of communication, trust, and financial issues. I work hard with my married couples to help them establish healthy communication through role playing, scripting, and teaching healthy communication skills techniques. Often homework is given. I give extensive therapy helping couples learn to trust each other through CBT, Christian Counseling, and Strength based counseling. Teaching couples how to build trust and how to forgive is heavily emphasized.

Family Counseling

Family therapy is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts.

Family therapy is usually provided by a psychologist, clinical social worker or licensed therapist. These therapists have graduate or postgraduate degrees and may be credentialed by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT)
